Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
Work Environment

As a Cook at Quiznos, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet our high standards.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management
Work Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
