About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Design Engineer to join our team at 2297102 ALBERTA INC. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.
  • Develop and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Design and develop software systems that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their software development needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software development problems and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with software development frameworks and tools, such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Java.
  • Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a fast-paced environment and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week.
