Job Summary

As a key member of the Sunrise Senior Living team, the Resident Care Director plays a vital role in ensuring the health and wellness of our residents. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the coordination of care and services, as well as managing the health and wellness of residents within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Health and Wellness: Develop and implement strategies to promote the health and wellness of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Coordinate Care and Services: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and service delivery.
  • Oversee Clinical Operations: Supervise and manage the clinical team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to provide high-quality care.
  • Develop and Implement Policies: Create and enforce policies and procedures that promote resident safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Regularly assess the effectiveness of care and services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Clinical Knowledge and Expertise: Strong understanding of healthcare principles, practices, and regulations.
