Position Overview

The role of a Beverage Service Specialist at Meltwich involves a dynamic and engaging environment where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Engage in short order cooking and food preparation to complement beverage service.
  • Bar Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of the bar area and proper washing of glassware.
  • Food Service: Serve food or snacks alongside beverages to enhance customer experience.
  • Draft System Care: Maintain and clean the draft beer system to ensure quality service.
  • Wine Expertise: Provide informed recommendations on wine selections to customers.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee food and beverage servers and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Customer Interaction: Address customer complaints or concerns effectively and professionally.
  • Order Management: Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Payment Processing: Collect payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and operate the cash register.
  • Sales Recording: Accurately record and balance beverage sales.
  • Product Storage: Store beverage and food products appropriately.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle conflict situations with poise and professionalism.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment where you will need to perform under pressure.

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
