Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ready Mix Driver to join our team at Testing four company. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for delivering concrete to job sites in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
  • Perform minor roadside repairs and maintenance
  • Inspect the mix, slump, and load size to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Work closely with dispatch to optimize routes and ensure safe transportation
  • Assemble and operate concrete chutes during the pour
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment and attending safety meetings
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
  • Proficient reading, writing, and math skills
  • Minimum one year of experience operating a commercial vehicle with a multi-speed transmission
  • Good driving record and valid medical card
  • Concrete knowledge and experience preferred
  • Mechanical background or skills preferred
  • Ability to work six days a week, including occasional Sundays, and drive up to 11 hours per day
  • Solid attendance and punctuality history
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift concrete chutes weighing up to 60 pounds
