Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload cargo effectively.
  • Operate and drive various types of trucks, including straight and articulated vehicles.
  • Monitor vehicle condition and conduct inspections on tires, lights, brakes, and other essential equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicle aspects are managed.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping techniques.

  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
