About the Role
dormakaba International Holding AG is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring all tax compliance, reporting, and auditing requirements are met for two of our subsidiaries in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review half-year and year-end income tax provisions calculations and related documentation.
- Assist with Global Minimum Tax data collection, calculations, and reporting/compliance.
- Prepare agreements and documentation of intercompany transactions and tax modeling.
- Coordinate internal and external tax audit processes.
- Manage tax credit processes, grants, and subsidies.
- Support the implementation of S4HANA.
- Support the US tax team with filing of all US federal and state income tax and sales tax returns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
- 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and taxation principles and guidelines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and tax compliance and research software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
