About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is actively seeking Radiological Technologists, CT Technologists, MRI Technologists, and Nuclear Medicine Technologists across the province. The Technologist is responsible for conducting a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation, adhering to the ALARA principle, while remaining attentive and accountable for each patient under their care. Effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary environment is essential, along with fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.

About You

We would be pleased to hear from you if you possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • Certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Licensure from the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP)
  • Qualification to work in multiple Diagnostic Imaging modalities is an asset
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Competencies in additional languages are an asset, with French preferred

Hours
  • Various permanent, assignments (temporary), casual relief (no guarantee of hours), and opportunities available in various locations throughout Nova Scotia.
  • Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel to other sites may be required.
  • You will have the opportunity to specify your work hours and location preferences in your application.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Radiological Technologist - General Imaging: $37.54 hourly
  • CT Technologist, MRI Technologist, and Nuclear Medicine Technologist: $39.96 hourly
