Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our development team. As an Android Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that support our framework. This framework is a mission-critical tool used by military and public safety organizations for real-time situational awareness and communication.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust and scalable Android applications for our framework.
  • Implement new features and enhancements, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and a seamless user experience.
  • Work closely with the QA team to conduct thorough testing, identify and fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Collaborate with other developers to integrate applications with backend services and external APIs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing Android applications, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Experience with Android Studio, Git, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Familiarity with mission-critical applications is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
