Position Summary
We are in search of a proactive and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of QA Automation Lead Engineer within our innovative healthcare technology environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is eager to collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and healthcare experts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of production-grade web and mobile applications in a highly regulated sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and develop a comprehensive QA program in collaboration with a team of QA engineers and automation tools.
- Lead the QA team at Hypercare, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
- Conduct manual testing to identify and resolve issues.
- Execute load and performance testing on our APIs to ensure reliability.
- Oversee the quality assurance of all software products developed by our engineering team.
- Integrate automated testing suites into our CI/CD pipeline for enhanced efficiency.
- Enhance and refine our QA processes for optimal effectiveness.
- Create both high-level and detailed test cases based on design and product specifications.
- Analyze and document bugs and errors discovered during testing.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve development processes for better performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the QA Automation Lead Engineer role will possess the following attributes:
- A strong desire to work in a startup environment.
- Proficiency in Playwright (JavaScript) for UI testing and Appium (Java) for mobile testing.
- Solid understanding of Postman and Postman API.
- Familiarity with tools such as Locust, Bombardier, and JMeter.
- Experience in developing test suites for iOS, Android, and web APIs.
- Background in agile methodologies.
- Experience with bash scripting.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $4,500 to $5,700 per month (Canadian Dollars)
