Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse IC to join our team at NL Health Services. As a Registered Nurse IC, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Completion of the Combined Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department Education Program offered through Western Health, or equivalent
- Successful completion of a challenge exam for those applicants who have completed an education program outside Western Health
- A willingness to complete and maintain active certification in ACLS, TNCC, and PALS within two years of appointment
Working Conditions
- 37.5 hours per pay period
- Monday to Sunday
- Salary scale: $42.63 to $52.69 per hour
