About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Operations Specialist to join our team at Dover Corporation. As an Inventory Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Operations team in Cambridge, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the inventory system expert, providing reports and making recommendations on replenishment, forecasting strategies, and excess and obsolete analysis.
  • Ensure inventory data integrity is maintained and controls are implemented and adhered to.
  • Provide inventory systems management and analysis related to stock turnover, minimum safety and production quantities.
  • Conduct year-end inventory management, including count sheets, system entry, and variance reports.
  • Administer System 40, including item, customer, and user setup and ongoing maintenance.
  • Process and Workflow Development, supporting:
  • Collaborate with senior management to plan and execute departmental workflows, accountabilities, and goals.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of data for costing, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Provide analysis of operational functions to ensure smooth processes that support effective MRP.
Requirements
  • 2 years of direct experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • A business diploma with specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations. A business degree is an asset.
  • Materials Management is preferred or CPIM (Certificate in Planning & Inventory Management) certification.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficient data mining and analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of computerized systems/applications, including ERP systems.
  • Team player with the willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
  • Ability to make sound decisions regarding day-to-day responsibility and work in a self-directed manner.
  • Multi-tasking and effective time management.
