About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Process Control Specialist to join our team at Janasi Industries Ltd. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers.
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment, and supervise their installation and operation.
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures and prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance.
  • Commission systems and components, and set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas units and gas meters.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
