About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MOOSE PIZZA INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, as well as prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Team Management: Supervise and check assembly of trays, establish work schedules, and manage a team of 1-10 staff members, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a Food Safety Certificate.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
