Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Stayner Care Centre Inc. as a Nursing Care Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Administer first aid and provide basic life support as needed
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting an asset
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
