Position Overview: ABA / IBI Instructor Therapist

Job Types: Part-time, Independent Contractor.
Side by Side Therapy is seeking dedicated professionals to fulfill contract Instructor Therapist roles. In this position, you will engage in one-on-one sessions with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental challenges, implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis (IBI/ABA) methodologies as directed by a Senior Therapist and BCBA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Applying client-specific ABA strategies and programs as outlined by the Senior Therapist and BCBA.
  • Providing direct services in the client's home or community environments.
  • Collecting and analyzing data.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of client progress.
  • Ensuring consistent communication with the Senior Therapist and BCBA.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and time management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • A College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification or Diploma in ABA/Autism is advantageous.
  • At least 6 months of experience in implementing ABA strategies.
  • Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification or progress towards it is a plus.

This part-time role offers the potential to develop a full-time caseload, with compensation determined by experience, education, and professional qualifications.

Compensation Range:
Instructor Therapist without RBT designation: $25-30
Instructor Therapist with RBT designation: $27-35

Compliance with COVID-19 protocols is mandatory, including screening and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary. Adherence to hygiene practices is essential.
