Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring the reliability, availability, and optimization of our equipment fleet. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop, including expenses, repair quality, safety, and personnel
  • Lead, coach, and mentor staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the fleet meets corporate appearance standards
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Mechanical background and computer knowledge are considered assets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
