Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, inspecting kitchen and food service areas to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available to meet customer demand.
  • Food Specialties: Develop and maintain expertise in the production of donuts and muffins, as well as other specialty baked goods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Working Conditions
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
