At Ines Di Santo Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wedding Gown Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating breathtaking bridal creations that embody the essence of our brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze industry trends, sales feedback, and design direction to develop innovative concepts and illustrations.
  • Collaborate with vendors to select fabrics, trims, and embellishments that align with our brand aesthetic.
  • Design and oversee the creation of new styles for our bi-annual collections, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
  • Communicate design concepts to the in-house pattern maker and development team, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
  • Manage design boards, tech packs, and BOMs to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Work closely with the design and pattern team to create intricate embroidery and embellishment layouts.
  • Monitor samples, lead prototype fittings, and review final tech packs and patterns to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in bridal or eveningwear design.
  • Strong technical understanding of drape, pattern, and garment construction.
  • Creative understanding of finishings, embellishments, and fabric engineering.
  • High taste level and great eye for color, silhouette, and proportion.
  • Passionate about design and innovation with a keen eye for nuance and detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to pivot and reprioritize as needed.
  • Experience managing teams and fostering a supportive environment.
  • Ability to receive feedback and use it to shape collection pieces.
  • Comfortable wearing many hats and playing a leadership role in a small team.
  • Ability and eagerness to travel to the US and Europe as needed.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and 3D apparel programs a plus.
