Position Overview

Join our team at Western Pizza as a Culinary Assistant. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while supporting food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation: Ensure cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to maintain a steady supply of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, as well as portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Stock Management: Replenish condiments and supplies at serving areas, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Waste Management: Responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash, and ensuring a tidy workspace.
  • Vegetable and Fruit Prep: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
Work Environment

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and requires standing for extended periods.

Physical Requirements

Ability to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Personal Attributes

We are looking for a team player who demonstrates dependability and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Employment Details
