Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at 9280-2966 QUEBEC INC.. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and repair of facilities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
  • Specialization: Knowledge in various construction trades is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with specialized tradespeople for extensive repairs.
  • Perform minor appliance repairs as needed.
  • Execute safety and security inspections regularly.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safety.
  • Manage inventory and order necessary supplies.
  • Provide on-site servicing and repairs as required.
  • Monitor insurance claims and address client inquiries effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Role is physically demanding and requires stamina.
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling is necessary.
