About the Role
The Maintenance Planner will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position will be responsible for generating work orders, scanning sheets, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate work orders and scan sheets for planned and emergency work requests
- Hand out work orders and scan sheets to staff
- Identify recommendations and areas for improvement
- Purchase necessary parts and equipment
- Follow up with staff on all outstanding work orders
- Closing all complete work orders for processing
- Process inventory parts returns when required
- Collaborate with Maintenance and other leaders to solve problems
- Ensure compliance with safety, bio-security, and environmental requirements
Requirements
- Experience in maintenance mechanical repairs or maintenance planning
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confined space and forklift operation an asset
- Experience in barn settings an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
