Bakery Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervision: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Customer Service: Prepare special orders and ensure that dishes are prepared for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
