Medical Laboratory Technologist

The Medical Laboratory Technologist plays a vital role in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, performing analytical tests and procedures using appropriate methodologies and quality assurance techniques. This position requires the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in emergency and weekend/night situations. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and patients.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who meets the following requirements:
- Must be a graduate from an approved program in Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Must be licensed with NSCMLT or eligible
- Registration with CSMLS
- Ability to work shiftwork (weekends and holidays as required)
- Willingness to travel when required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
This is a long-assignment, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be compensated at a rate of $37.54 hourly. Additionally, they may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
