Position Overview:

Avina Fresh Produce Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Agricultural Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage various farm activities. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our agricultural services.

Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to dusty conditions.
  • Working in hot temperatures.
  • Familiarity with various odors.
  • Outdoor work setting.
  • Experience with mushroom cultivation.
Work Setting:
  • Located in a rural area.
  • Staff accommodation is provided for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing greenhouse sanitation.
  • Maintaining financial and production documentation.
  • Engaging with clients for service negotiations.
  • Delivering agricultural crop services.
  • Coordinating and supervising farm laborers.
  • Ensuring adherence to farm safety protocols.
  • Maintaining quality control documentation.
  • Supervising crop-related tasks.
  • Recruiting and training new staff members.
  • Operating various farm machinery.
  • Performing general agricultural duties.
Supervision:
  • Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
Area of Specialization:
  • Expertise in agricultural crop services.
Security and Safety:
  • A criminal record check is a requirement for this position.
