About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Senior Medical Writer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and scientific writing services to our clients in the Immunology therapeutic space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Immunology therapeutic area and stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to develop and deliver high-quality medical and scientific writing services, including clinical study reports, study protocols, and other regulatory documents.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of high-quality medical and scientific writing services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines, including those related to clinical trials and pharmaceutical development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, scientists, and regulatory experts, to ensure that medical and scientific writing services meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the role of medical and scientific writing in supporting the development of new treatments and therapies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years of regulatory writing).
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry preferred.
  • Experience working within FSPs preferable.
  • Additional qualifications in medical writing (AMWA; EMWA; RAC) advantageous.
