Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Tech to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a key member of our adult inpatient care team, you will provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu. Your expertise will be essential in establishing therapeutic relationships with patients, maintaining professional boundaries, and identifying patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and observations
  • Participate in planning and implementation of patient groups and activities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide support with employment and daily routines
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
