KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in communication with production, suppliers, logistics, and supply chain teams to guarantee timely delivery of essential components.
- Notify planning and program management of any delivery setbacks.
- Lead daily critical components meetings alongside planning and program management.
- Oversee all supply chain activities linked to critical components discussions.
- Urge suppliers to deliver vital components promptly.
- Take necessary actions through shipping, escalation, or sourcing for all essential components.
- Act as a liaison to involve management in supplier-related escalations.
- Update necessary information in the MRP system, including dates, tracking numbers, and comments.
- Place orders with suppliers as required.
ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?
- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or sourcing within an industrial setting.
- A university degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in procuring electronic components at the board level and/or custom parts.
- Demonstrated ability to meet objectives for both internal and external customers.
- Proficient in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in advanced Excel.
