Key Responsibilities- Cybersecurity Framework Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity framework, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, to ensure the security and integrity of our digital assets.
- Embed Cyber Principles in Design: Collaborate with our IT and business teams to ensure that cybersecurity principles are embedded in the design and development of our systems and applications.
- Enhance Cybersecurity Posture: Develop and implement strategies to enhance our cybersecurity posture, including vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Participate in 24/7 Cybersecurity Monitoring: Participate in our 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring and incident response program, ensuring that we are prepared to respond to and mitigate cyber threats in a timely and effective manner.
- Data Security and Privacy: Develop and implement data security and privacy measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our sensitive data.
- Work with Cybersecurity Standards: Collaborate with our IT and business teams to ensure compliance with industry-recognized cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Defend all assets: Develop and implement strategies to defend our digital assets against cyber threats, including vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Ensure Organizational Cybersecurity Awareness: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program to educate our employees on cybersecurity best practices and the importance of cybersecurity.
- Develop Third-Party Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to enhance our cybersecurity capabilities and ensure alignment with our strategic defense objectives.
- Monitor Success and Compliance: Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of our cybersecurity program and ensure compliance with industry-recognized standards and regulations.
- Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement within our cybersecurity team, promoting innovation and proactive approaches to cybersecurity challenges.
- Lead by Example: Model leadership that prioritizes security, demonstrating commitment to protecting our digital assets and data through actions, collaboration, and a hands-on approach to cybersecurity management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Cybersecurity certifications (SANS, CEH, ISACA, OffSec, CompTIA as examples).
- Proven experience in IT and cybersecurity, including 24/7 operations and familiarity with NIST frameworks.
- Cybersecurity related project delivery and project analysis experience.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity programs, operational leadership, and fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience.
- Demonstrable expertise in penetration tests, vulnerability assessment, and security monitoring.
- Experience with cloud and local network infrastructure and security tools.
- Collaborative skills for working across teams and with external partners to enhance cybersecurity defenses.
