Licensed Counsellor

We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to become part of our organization. This role provides a stable opportunity to engage in therapy for 1 to 30 hours weekly. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in counselling and be accredited or registered with the relevant professional body. A provincial license or registration is also mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the effectiveness of counselling sessions and monitor patient progress
- Conduct psychological evaluations
- Engage with clients, compile case histories, and identify issues
- Draft progress reports and therapeutic plans
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
- Develop intervention strategies to aid clients in achieving their objectives
- Keep precise and organized records
- Background in behaviour modification, cognitive behavioural therapy, and crisis intervention
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities and a client-centered approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to ethical standards in counselling
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Reside within a reasonable distance from the clinic
- Prior experience in a counselling role
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle
