Norval Farm, a division of Sheridan Nurseries, is seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team.
Job Summary:
This is a seasonal, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to learn about plants and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure job requirements and safety protocols are met.
- Meet daily targets for quality and productivity in planting, potting, and crop maintenance.
- Perform tasks such as pruning, clipping, staking, and harvesting.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment.
- Work collaboratively with other teams as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Own transportation arrangements to the nursery.
- No education or experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work for extended periods standing and walking.
