The Housekeeping Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, ensuring customer and client satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills, as the Housekeeping Lead may be responsible for overseeing or delegating tasks within the housekeeping operations.

  • Schedule and assign daily work tasks to a custodial team, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee the completion of tasks assigned to the custodial team, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to address performance deficiencies within the custodial team.
  • Participate in training and re-training of employees as needed, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and clutter-free work environment, mitigating safety hazards and adhering to Aramark and client standards.
  • Ensure the thorough cleaning and maintenance of housekeeping equipment, following established procedures.
  • Properly store and dispose of trash, transporting it to designated areas in a timely manner.
  • Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to the appropriate personnel, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, complying with accredited agencies and Aramark regulations.
  • Ensure the security of company assets and facility, locking and unlocking doors and equipment storage areas as required.

  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Previous custodial experience is required, with a strong understanding of cleaning operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Ability to follow basic safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
