Job Summary

PT PROTECH TELECOM LTD. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance
    • Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
    • Inspect the operation of telecommunications equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair
    • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
    • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
    • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
    • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Work Environment
    • Work Term: Permanent
    • Work Language: English
    • Hours: 40 hours per week
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
