Avionics Technician

As a key member of our team at L3Harris Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Performing maintenance and repair work on aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
- Utilizing certified and calibrated standard measuring and test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Familiarizing yourself with L3 MAS policies and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Marshalling, fueling, and towing of aircraft as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assuming responsibility for your work as indicated by your signature or stamp.
Qualifications:
- You must hold an AME M license and have qualifications on heavy aircraft in the following areas: Engine/Airframe interface, Environmental Control, Electrical System, Hydraulic System, Fuel System, and Flight Control System.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- You must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada "Reliability" status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- You must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
