Wellness and Resiliency Counsellor for Accessibility Services

The University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellness and Resiliency Counsellor to join our Accessibility Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide individual and group counselling, workshops, and outreach services to support the mental health and wellness of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical counselling and psychotherapy services to students with disabilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services
- Develop and lead workshops and seminars on mental health and wellness topics
- Stay up-to-date on assessment and psychotherapeutic advances in the field
- Master's degree in social work or counselling
- Minimum five years of full-time clinical counselling experience
- Experience working with students with disabilities and mental health concerns
- Strong counselling, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
