Job Title: Construction Laborer

Lawnsmart & Snow Removal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Measure and Prepare Materials: Measure the weight of materials to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Read Blueprints: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix and Apply Materials: Mix and apply materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Pave and Rake Asphalt: Pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: You will be required to handle heavy loads and equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial in this role to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Good hand-eye coordination is required for tasks such as measuring and preparing materials.
