Job Title: Marketing and Communications Specialist

Booth University College is seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our External Relations department, you will be responsible for leading the execution of our marketing and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective marketing and communication plans that align with our strategic direction.
  • Research, write, and edit engaging content for various formats, including social media, website, newsletter, and press releases.
  • Create and maintain marketing and communications materials, including print and digital advertising, email marketing, and public relations.
  • Collaborate with external service providers to ensure successful marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize social media strategies, including content creation and oversight of social media channels.
  • Provide media readiness training for staff and faculty as needed.
  • Advise on crisis communications and maintain the website, ensuring it is up-to-date and functional.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Satisfactory criminal record check.
  • Commitment to the Mission of Booth University College and ability to integrate Christian faith in the workplace.
  • At least three years of strong marketing and communications experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Marketing or Creative Communications (equivalent experience considered).
  • Strong project management skills, including budget management and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Skills/Capabilities:

  • Graphic design experience.
  • Photography skills.
