Nurse Practitioner

About the Role
VON Canada is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Nova Scotia. As a RN, you will provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings across the province.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide diabetes management, dialysis, IV medications, IV/CVAD care, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care services
- Work with patients to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Conduct home visits to assess patient needs and provide education
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
- Experience in community health an asset
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
