About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Research Scientist to join our team at GL Chemtec International. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting research into the synthesis and properties of chemical compounds and the mechanisms of chemical reactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and Synthesizing Chemical Compounds
    • Design and conduct experiments to analyze and synthesize chemical compounds
    • Develop and implement new methods for synthesizing and purifying chemical compounds
  • Conducting Research and Development
    • Conduct research into the properties and behavior of chemical compounds
    • Develop and implement new methods for characterizing and analyzing chemical compounds
  • Ensuring Quality Control
    • Develop and implement programs of analysis to ensure quality control of raw materials, chemical intermediates, and final products
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to quality control
  • Preparing Reports and Presentations
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings and results
    • Communicate research findings and results to colleagues and management
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in a research and development role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in Minitab and other relevant software
