Logistics Coordinator/Dispatch Specialist

Certarus is a leading provider of low-carbon energy solutions in North America. We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator/Dispatch to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.
Job Summary:The Logistics Coordinator/Dispatch will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of gas deliveries and ancillary support equipment across all terminals in Canada and the USA. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the transportation of gas deliveries and ancillary support equipment
- Monitor customer gas consumption rates and dispatch loads to replenish inventory
- Make informed decisions using technology platforms, including SCADA, fleet GPS monitoring, and electronic logbooks
- Quickly and accurately action information received from multiple sources
- Effective utilization of trucking resources while planning and dispatching gas deliveries
- Focus on transportation efficiency by proactively planning cost-effective gas deliveries
- Responsible for the accurate approval of internal and third-party trucking tickets
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and third-party truck drivers
- 5-10+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or a combination of transferable skills and experience
- Previous experience in oilfield or transportation dispatching
- Advanced computer proficiency, including experience with automated monitoring systems and digital dispatching systems
- Highly developed communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and plan effectively
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions responding effectively to challenges, often under stress and with limited information
