About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Director to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our Sea Logistics Sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and developing our Asia Pacific Trade strategy, driving growth and achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our Asia Pacific Trade strategy, building on our existing sales strategy and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Drive the execution of our trade strategy, ensuring achievement of growth targets and collaborating with our sales teams to identify and prepare solutions for client needs.
- Support our sales teams in client presentations, market updates, and other business development activities.
- Collaborate with our overseas offices to drive growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Travel requirements may include international and domestic trips.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a sea logistics environment.
- Strong foundation in sea freight sales, operations, pricing, carrier network, and trade lane knowledge.
- College or University diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is an asset.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer service skills, dealing with customers at a high level.
- Presentation and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead in a team environment.
- Dispute resolution skills.
