The JobThe Senior Analyst, Digital Health and Privacy will be responsible for supporting the Digital Health and Privacy team through research and technical expertise, committee support, and the development of policy documents and communication of policy positions and issues.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in health informatics, data analysis, and privacy management, and will be able to provide expert advice on digital health strategy engagement work, including privacy requirements for Doctors of BC and its members' digital health initiatives.
The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing data, creating briefing notes and reports, and presenting digital health and privacy information as directed.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Digital Health and Privacy team through research and technical expertise
- Develop policy documents and communicate policy positions and issues
- Provide expert advice on digital health strategy engagement work, including privacy requirements
- Analyze data and create briefing notes and reports
- Present digital health and privacy information as directed
- Post-secondary degree in health or a related field
- At least 2-4 years' experience in an analyst role or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably related to engagement in information technology and/or project coordination
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and critically appraise research and writing privacy impact assessments and briefing notes
- Understanding of the BC healthcare system
- Experience evaluating projects related to health technology in practice and the privacy implications
