The role of the Food Services Supervisor at GUAC MEXI GRILL involves overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation and customer service meet our high standards.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- Fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
- Conditions may include noise and heat.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Train team members on their responsibilities, including sanitation and safety protocols.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and present reports as necessary.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 individuals.
Certifications- Must possess a Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a team setting.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Willingness to relocate is required.
- This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work language is English.
