The Manager of Business Applications plays a pivotal role in identifying, planning, coordinating, and overseeing all activities related to business applications within the organization. It is essential for this position to uphold a positive company image through a commitment to safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team comprising a Senior Data Analyst and a Business Applications Specialist.
  • Conduct project requirements analysis and develop comprehensive project conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Manage and monitor project performance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Facilitate thorough user training for system conversion and implementation.
  • Oversee the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, and administration of Microsoft NAV & Dynamics.
  • Analyze business processes and align systems hardware/software with technical solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems challenges.
  • Support end users with Microsoft NAV & Dynamics.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in all functions and responsibilities.

In this role, maintaining a professional demeanor in alignment with company values is crucial, including appropriate language use, attire, and workmanship.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, or a suitable combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 3-5+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience in engineering and designing comprehensive business solutions that query corporate databases.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • A proven track record of ERP system configuration and report generation, specifically with MS NAV & Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and controls is an asset.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence applications in a business context.
  • Strong relational database modeling skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of operating systems and service application environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, IIS, SQL, and MS Office 365.

This position may require overtime, work outside of regular hours, and being on call, as determined by company discretion.
