Job Summary

Targeted Talent is seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to oversee comprehensive industrial and mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Coordinate and perform maintenance and mechanical repairs for assigned buildings and related facilities, furnishings, and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery, performing basic diagnostic tests, and testing damaged machine parts.
  • Technical Expertise: Review and follow technical and complex machinery manuals, work with equipment manuals, and interact with equipment manufacturers to keep production equipment running efficiently.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Disassemble machine parts when transporting or repairing them, and reassemble the parts, collect and store distinct machinery parts, and visit various manufacturing sites to assess potential issues or needs.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Repairs: Perform electrical repairs, such as replacing switches and wiring, general repairs to refrigeration equipment, install/repairs of irrigation systems and water lines, and operate equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Task Determination: Determine the requirements to carry out specific tasks or jobs, work through maintenance lists as required, and perform routine walkthrough checklists for each property.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with production workers and/or engineers when using the machines.
Requirements
  • Certification: 3rd or 4th Year apprentice or Journeyman Level Millwright Certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with construction equipment and machinery, strong knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine components, able to weld and cut metal parts, critical thinking and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, able to understand blueprints, written schematics, layout plans, and other materials, strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Team spirit and a positive attitude, excellent time management and organizational skills, and a valid driver's license.
