What You Will Do

  • Resident-Centered Care: Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities, ensuring residents' comfort, dignity, and independence. Actively listen to their needs and preferences, tailoring your approach to meet their individual requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, observations, and interactions. Communicate effectively with the nursing team, providing timely updates on residents' well-being and any changes in their condition.
  • Safety: Contribute to a safe and secure environment for residents, colleagues, and yourself. Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of vigilance and prevention.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care. Share your insights and observations to contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.

What You Bring

  • Grade 10 education and a Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
  • Previous experience as a Health Care Aide is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
  • Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
