Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Telecommunications Equipment: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Repair and Troubleshoot: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment, analyze test results, and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, and associated equipment and software.
  • Operate Computerized Testing Systems: Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
  • Complete and Maintain Reports: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
