Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Regularly inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Supply Management: Order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas at all times.
  • Recruitment: Assist in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff as needed.
  • Operational Management: Manage daily kitchen operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
