Multimatic Inc. is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in the Automotive Paint Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing automotive body panels for the paint process, ensuring high-quality finishes and adhering to our quality-focused work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prep automotive body panels for paint by sanding and masking areas as required.
  • Mask, cap, and plug areas as needed, with a focus on accuracy.
  • Inspect components during processing stages and ensure overall appearance of finished products meets quality standards.
  • Adhere to Multimatic's quality-focused attitude and work culture.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in auto body finishing and repair is an asset.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset.
  • Must be organized, able to meet deadlines, and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable using hand tools such as sanders.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing/receiving constructive feedback.
