About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at YJ Food Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in portioning and wrapping foods, as well as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Inventory Management: Help maintain stock levels in refrigerators and salad bars, and ensure that kitchen supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Participate in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in sharpening kitchen knives and maintaining other kitchen equipment.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen, and proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: This is a permanent position, with a typical workweek of 30-40 hours.
